Stay encouraged in the word

​When life gets overwhelming or difficult, its easy to throw in the towel or give up. However, its during this time that we should really remember God's word, and act on it. He will give us peace and rest. We can cast our cares and burdens unto him, knowing that he will do what he says, in his perfect timing. 

If God has promised you something, you should know that He will fulfill it. The Bible says in Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent." He doesn't need you to push Him or help Him, He doesn't need you to get angry or to keep accounts of His timing. If we could, we should cling to His promises because they will surely be fulfilled.
When trials come, don't run. Stay still and wait for God because He is looking for an opportunity to bless you and give you much more, just as He did with Job. If God is taking his time, it's because something greater than what you are expecting is coming for you.
So in the midst of the storm, rise up and declare, "I know that my redeemer lives."
