Turn from Sin

As we look around today's society, we can see that sin is heavily glorified. From music videos, attempting to influence you in the wrong way, death music playing over the radio airwaves, and from certain television shows, sin is shown before the world's eyes. It can be viewed as "cool" or something that will not be taken serious, but as true believers in Christ,  we know this not true and far from the word of God. Sin is here because Satan fell here, and its one of the many traps that he will set to sway you from the path of righteousness. This is why its not only important to monitor what we watch, see and listen to, but also your Children. Young children can also be influenced by these things, and will start to behave in certain ways sinful ways. We must raise them in the way they should go, which Is based on the biblical principles, so that they will not part from them (Proverbs 22:6).

We also must live our lives pleasing unto God, in order for our Children to model after. If more people in this world follow and obey the Godly principles,  there would be no children born out if wedlock, there would be no murders, there would be no hate and etc. If you haven't confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is the time to do it now! Turn away from deadly sins and ask God to create in you a clean heart and righteous spirit, so that you can model and walk in his ways.

1 Corinthians 6:9 says "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind."

Revelations 3:16 says "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth."

God created us for his purpose so we are not meant to follow after Satan's ways in this fallen world. We were meant to walk the narrow path, while being set apart from wickedness. Yes, we will make mistakes, we all have sinned, and fall short of his glory, so we will never be perfect, but by God's grace, we are meant to repent and sin no more. As discussed in my previous blog, we are in the last hour and everything that God prophesied is coming to past, so we must get in his word, pray without ceasing and walk as a new creature in Christ. If we stay in our fleshly bodies and continue to sin, nothing good will come from it. Remember,  the wages of sin are life and death (Romans 6:23).
